GHX-02 Breakout Expansion v2.0: the public gold trade record

This is the public record of every gold trade GHX-02 Breakout Expansion v2.0 takes on the Gold Hunts demonstration account. Each closed trade is published after it closes, win or lose, with the reason it was taken written down before the outcome was known. Rebuilt and in verification. Not trading, on any account, until its demonstration account is live.

How it decides: It looks for a horizontal price level that gold has defended on two separate occasions, with a genuine retreat away from the level in between — one touch is not a level. It only considers a trade when a completed 15-minute candle closes through that level with a measurably wider range than the candles before it and a strong close in the direction of the break. It declines the break if price has already run too far beyond the level, if the candle gapped away from it, or if the hourly picture is pushing the other way. A trade carries a stop back on the far side of the level and a target at twice that distance, both fixed before the order is sent. It leaves early if a completed 5-minute candle closes back through the level it broke, and it will not hold a trade past its time limit or the session cutoff. If the conditions are not all present, it records a wait with the one reason that stopped it.

What each published trade shows: Date and time the trade opened and closed, in UK time. Direction, entry price, exit price, and the distance to the stop and the target. Result in R — the outcome measured against the risk taken, net of spread, commission and swap, with the gross figure beside it. Win or loss, how long it was held, the session it traded, and the model version that took it. The plain-English reason the model took the trade, written before the outcome was known. Never published: lot size, account balance, ticket numbers, and anything at all about a customer account.

How the record can be checked: entries are added only, never edited or removed. Each entry carries a check value calculated from the entry before it, so an altered or missing row is detectable. A correction is published as an additional entry naming the one it corrects, and both stay visible. A daily signed summary records the state of the record on that day. The same decision is released to the demonstration account and to every trader running the model in the same cycle, with no preferential ordering.

Scope and limits: these are demonstration-account results and demonstration results do not represent live trading. Nothing here is investment advice or a forecast, and no return is promised — leveraged gold carries a high risk of rapid loss. Sample size is always shown beside any win rate, and the record is published from the first trade rather than once it looks good. Results are measured against the risk taken, net of spread, commission and swap, with the gross figure alongside; cash profit and loss is not published. Gold Hunts operates from the United Kingdom under the laws of England and Wales. A model acts only while a trader leaves it switched on, on an account they connected, inside limits they set.
