AN MT5 ALTERNATIVE FOR GOLD TRADING
Your broker. Your account. A trading experience built around gold. Gold Hunts is not a broker and does not hold funds. It connects to a supported MetaTrader 5 broker account, connected by the trader and replaces the everyday interface a gold trader uses to read the market, size a position, submit an order, manage exposure and review what happened. Orders still reach the same broker, at the same spreads, with the same execution.
WHAT CHANGES AND WHAT DOES NOT
What stays exactly as it is: the broker account, the funds held there, the broker’s spreads and execution, and MetaTrader 5 itself if the trader still wants it. Nothing is transferred, no funds move, and MetaTrader 5 can stay installed and logged in on the same account at the same time.
What changes is the surface you work on every day. Instead of a general multi-asset terminal, the screen assumes gold: a 100-ounce XAUUSD contract, London and New York session boundaries, the gold releases due, and the exposure already open across every connected account.
| Stays with your broker | Handled by Gold Hunts |
|---|---|
| Your account, funds and account statements | The gold terminal you read and trade from |
| Spreads, commission, swap and slippage | Position sizing, margin and leverage figures |
| Order execution and fill prices | Order submission, exposure view and management |
| Regulation and client-money protection | Server-enforced limits: daily loss limit, maximum positions per symbol, momentum circuit breaker |
| Stop and target orders held at the broker | Journalling, session analytics and Max |
WHY A GOLD-ONLY INTERFACE READS DIFFERENTLY
A general terminal has to be neutral about the instrument, so the trader supplies all the context: which session is open, what is due on the calendar, what a 0.20 lot actually risks at this stop distance, whether this is the third revenge entry of the morning.
A gold-only interface can hold that context permanently. The same numbers are computed once, from the contract specification, and shown beside the order rather than worked out on a calculator in another tab.
- Session and volatility context on the screen where the order is placed
- Sizing, margin and effective leverage from stop distance, before you commit
- 21 gold calculators available free, no account needed
- Automatic gold trade history from the connected account, scored by session and behaviour
- Max, an AI gold companion that reads the market, the open positions and the trading record
WHERE METATRADER 5 IS STILL THE RIGHT TOOL
This is a genuine limitation list, not a disclaimer. Gold Hunts is gold-only by design, and there are workflows it will never cover.
- A broker or instrument Gold Hunts does not support.
- Trading instruments other than gold — Gold Hunts is gold-only by design.
- Running Expert Advisors or custom MT5 indicators.
- Workflows that depend on MT5 desktop features such as strategy tester.
COST, AND WHAT NEEDS PAYING FOR
Gold Hunts is £119.99 a year (about £9.99 a month) or £79.99 every 6 months. No free trial; the subscription opens the whole app. All payments are final and non-refundable; cancel any time and keep access to the end of the paid period.
A practice (demo) account can be connected first, free and permanently, before any live account. Closing a position, reducing exposure, cancelling a pending order or tightening a stop is never gated — risk can always be reduced.
RISK NOTE
Leveraged gold carries a high risk of rapid loss. Everything on this page is education, not financial advice or a projection of returns.
GOLD TRADING FAQ
- Is Gold Hunts a broker?
- No. Gold Hunts is a trading interface. You keep your own MetaTrader 5 broker account, your funds stay with that broker, and every order is routed to that account.
- Do I have to stop using MetaTrader 5?
- No. MT5 can stay installed and signed in on the same account. Gold Hunts replaces the everyday gold workflow, not the account or the execution infrastructure.
- Can I try it without risking money?
- Yes. A practice (demo) account can be connected first, free and permanently, before any live account.
- Does Gold Hunts change my spreads or execution?
- No. Spreads, commission, swap, slippage and fills remain entirely your broker's. Gold Hunts changes what you see and how the order is prepared, not where it is executed.
